Founding of Varistor AG (plc) in Wettingen by Urs Iselin.

Starting of sales activities. Mission: to provide comprehensive product and market related information to the Swiss food industry and to supply corresponding food raw materials (with a bias on products from Messrs Worlée). 
Products: dried mushrooms, herbs and teas, onions, dried vegetables

1988

Adding new principals for saffron and pepper.

1989

Relocation from Wettingen to Schneisingen.

1990

Integrating the activities of Zano AG within the product sectors fruit- and frozen-raw materials.

1993

Start of collaboration with ISIK, Turkey, with dried fruits.

1994

Takeover of Karl Schlumpf AG.

Start of collaboration with SVZ, Holland, with fruit and vegetables concentrates as well as purees.

1995

Start of collaboration with ASM, Sweden, Navarro Pecan, USA, and FTS, Sicily.

1997

Launch of „goodfood“, our proprietary company magazine.

Start marketing organic raw materials.

1998

Relocation from Schneisingen to Lengnau.

1999

Adding Worlée-Chemie GmbH as new principal and start of our chemical department.

Start of consulting and sales activities for radiation protection for medical-, R&D- and nuclear energy-applications.

2000

Start of sales activities of raw materials for functional food.

2001

Start of collaboration with Taura, Belgium, and Oleander, Spain.

2002

Start of collaboration with Rhodia, France, for the aliphatic isocyanates.

Strengthening our consulting activities by employing a nutritional consultant.

Adoption of an internal QM System (Food).

Conversion to sustainable energy  (AEW Naturstrom).
